Obituary of Melba Johnson

(nee Cottrell)

 

Peacefully at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew on Monday evening, March 11, 2024, Melba passed away at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Robert “Ben” Johnson (May 13, 2022) for over 66 years. Loved mother of Wendy Johnson (Kevin) and Bob Johnson (Pat). Proud and cherished grandma of Amy Johnson (Sam), Trevor Johnson (Natalie), Jessica Gill (Colin), Evan Thornton and Taylor Thornton (Steve Warford) and great grandma of Jacob and Cole Johnson, Georgina and Rory Gill and Benjamin Morin. Melba was predeceased by her brother Harvey Cottrell (Betty) and her sister Bette McMillan (late Don). Daughter of the late Donald and Milicent (nee Harvey) Cottrell.

Melba’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home. A celebration of Melba’s life will be held in the Summer.
